Kiah is a specialist consulting company engaged to deliver strategic outcomes and complex business activities. Our value is in the access, provision and coordination of highly experienced practitioners with broad industry management experience and specialty in procurement and negotiation. Simply, our work requires not just knowledge and experience but the willingness to lead intense and high pressured situations while also “getting ones hands dirty” in delivery.
We engage eminent experts and specialists to lead delivery. We have a small team who support these specialists in delivery though data analysis, drafting and formatting documentation, organising, planning and administration.
Kiah engages individuals at three levels:
- Principals, Associates and Advisers: These are highly experienced negotiators and program leads. They usually hold multiple tertiary qualifications and direct experience in running businesses in both the public and private sectors. They will have managed a P&L and led complex projects and negotiations. They will usually have had a level of international experience and be comfortable in cross-cultural environments. Principals lead complex engagements.
- Senior Consultants. Our consultants have varying levels of experience. Typically they support a negotiation particularly in the research and analytics phase, data discovery and evaluation or in the processes that support the course of the negotiation. They have broad educational background and while their experience tends to be limited their intellectual agility and enthusiasm is not. They may facilitate smaller workshops and break out groups that have strong agendas. Kiah’s consultants have varying levels of experience and may lead smaller engagements.
- Analyst and Support Consultants. Our Analyst and Support Consultants assist in the coordination of negotiations and projects. They are essential in ensuring that the focus is on negotiations and not the support and coordination issues. They assist in a range of tasks from facilities and meeting coordination through to minute and note taking and independent research tasks.
Our corporate base is Canberra, though we deliver nationally. Currently we have a permanent presence in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne with consultants delivering local and national assignments.
